The Trump administration has launched a campaign to shut down the International Criminal Court. They say the global justice body is a threat to American sovereignty and legal systems. But the US is not a member of the court, although the ICC statute does provide the power to prosecute non-members over crimes. The United Nations has defended the ICC, saying it plays an important part in international justice. Kristina Simich reports.
