July 15th, 2016 is etched into the history of Türkiye, a day of both painful memories and proud resistance.
The defiance, honour and strength of its people were shown when everyday citizens repelled an effort by the FETO terror group to overthrow the government. Thousands of people have gathered in the capital, Ankara, to mark what is described as the Turkish nation’s victory over the coup plotters. Asli Atbas reports from Ankara.
