The White House said President Donald Trump agrees with Vice President JD Vance’s claim that foreign governments try to influence American public opinion, following Vance’s remarks accusing Israeli government-backed figures of attacking him over his stance on US-Iran diplomacy.
Vance had also argued that Israel exerts significant influence over US politics and criticised Israeli officials opposed to a potential agreement between Washington and Tehran.
