President Donald Trump has paused US airstrikes on Iran, citing ongoing indirect talks mediated by Oman, while warning that US forces remain ready to respond if diplomacy fails.
Iran says it has also suspended retaliatory attacks as long as the US refrains from further strikes, although military tensions remain high ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming meeting with Trump.
