Russia released footage of strikes on Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) drone control centres in the Kharkiv region, and said on August 2 that its forces had intercepted over 1,000 Ukrainian drones, including 1,158 fixed-wing drones, in the previous 24 hours. On the same day, Ukraine reported that it had struck a Russian military airfield, a refinery supporting Russian troops, and drone launch sites.
