Sven Schulze, state premier and the CDU’s candidate in the upcoming regional election in Saxony-Anhalt has slammed the AfD for its xenophobia, and underscored his state’s reliance on exports and foreign workers. "It cannot be our aim" to turn Saxony-Anhalt into a place where people who were not born in Germany are no longer welcome.
