Opposition lawmaker Time Kadrijaj threw eggs at acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti during a parliamentary session in Pristina as Kosovo’s lawmakers gathered to constitute parliament following the June 7 snap election.
The disruption came after Kurti requested more time to negotiate a political agreement with opposition parties, a request that was approved.
Opposition parties and some constitutional law experts had objected to the session, arguing that the 30-day deadline set by Kosovo’s Constitutional Court to constitute parliament expired on Friday.
