A Russian court has banned Yabloko – the country’s only party that’s openly against the war in Ukraine. The announcement sparked a rare protest despite the risks involved in public demonstrations. Yabloko, meaning "apple," was not expected to win seats in the September parliamentary election, but analysts say its anti-war message still poses a threat to the Kremlin.
