US President Donald Trump said on August 11 that the plane he boarded after a secret aircraft switch following last month’s NATO summit in Türkiye’s Ankara was “at greater risk.”
He was moved between aircraft in a catering truck due to a reported safety threat, while journalists travelled on the older Air Force One, which served as a decoy. Trump said he followed Secret Service and military advice.
