‘Fastest-growing’ virus reach a sixth province in DRC

The fastest-growing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has now spread to a sixth province in the country. Health officials reported one death in the area. At least 2,100 people have died in more than 4,500 reported cases. There are no approved treatments for the rare virus responsible for the current outbreak. The WHO says the outbreak is on track to become the deadliest ever. TRT World’s Victoria Innes reports.
