Several horses stranded by rising floodwaters near Hagerstown, Indiana, were brought to safety on August 15 after another horse swam through the water and the others followed. Rescuers spent nearly an hour assessing the fast-moving water before entering with a horse named Wyatt, according to the United Cajun Navy. The rescue came as the White River reached a record 24.6 feet in nearby Noblesville, surpassing a record set in 1913.
