Two Palestinians were injured in an Israeli air strike on Deir al Balah in central Gaza on August 23, despite a ceasefire that has been in place since October 10, 2025. Israeli warplanes targeted a building in the Zawayda area, sending flames and thick smoke into the air and causing panic among residents. The two injured Palestinians, including a child, were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for treatment
