Ukraine marks independence day as Russian attacks continue

European leaders have joined Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kiev, to celebrate the country’s Independence Day in a show of unity against Russia. There will also be a meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" to discuss air defence and push for greater pressure on Moscow. Addressing the nation, Zelenskyy urged for more international support and said his country ‘wants peace very much, but will not just give in.’
