Congo steps up Ebola battle with vaccine | DW News

Congo has received more than 16,000 doses of the Ervebo vaccine from a planned shipment of 70,000 as it struggles to contain its fastest-moving Ebola outbreak yet. But while the vaccine protects against the Zaire strain, there are no proven vaccines or treatments for the Bundibugyo strain driving this outbreak. Nearly 2,500 people have died in just three months.
