Sky News has visited one of the villages that found itself in the path of a raging torrent of water that barrelled down a mountain valley in Nepal.
Neville Lazarus said around 80% of the village’s homes had been destroyed in the disaster.
Hundreds of people are dead and missing after a suspected glaciar collapse on the Nepal-Tibet border sent water cascading through the valley.
