Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said early on Wednesday that they had carried out a ballistic missile attack on a US base in Jordan, the Iranian news outlet Tasnim reported.
“Jordan’s air defence systems engaged 13 ballistic missiles that entered the Kingdom’s airspace, successfully intercepting and destroying 10 of them, while three missiles fell in remote areas away from populated centres,” Jordan’s army said in a statement, adding that no casualties were reported.
Iranian media also reported the country’s military targeted a US base in Bahrain with a large-scale drone attack, and the Kuwaiti army reported its air defences were responding to a hostile drone attack.
