“ What did the olive trees do to them?”
Just weeks before the vital annual harvest, Israeli bulldozers have ripped up dozens of olive trees in the occupied West Bank town of Arraba.
Palestinian farmers say some of the uprooted trees were 70 years old. While the Israeli military claims the clearing is strictly for "operational reasons," local landowners say the destruction comes just weeks after a new Israeli settlement was built on Palestinian land directly along the same route.
