Albanians took to the streets of the capital Tirana for the 100th consecutive day to protest the planned development of a real estate project by a company linked with US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner. The luxury resort would be built on an environmentally sensitive part of the Adriatic coast, critics say. Since they started in May the demonstrations — dubbed ‘Flamingo Revolution’— developed into protests against the government and corruption.
