Sky News went undercover to purchase and test unregulated peptides from social media, which have not been approved for human consumption – but in many cases are injected anyway.
According to TikTok, there are strict rules against promoting, trading, marketing, and providing access to products like the peptides we bought.
Experts say that there is a world of potential when it comes to peptides, but we may never realise it, unless loopholes are closed and better safety checks are in place.
