Leaders from 11 nations – India, China, Russia, Brazil, South Africa, the UAE and Iran, with Saudi Arabia attending as an invited member – are in Delhi this weekend for the Brics summit.
They are expected to hold talks on a wide range of issues.
The Brics group was formed as a counterweight to the US and Western Europe.
