Thailand is tightening its visa-free entry rules, starting Tuesday September 15th. It will reduce the maximum stay for foreign visitors from 60 days to 30. It’s a move aimed at tackling concerns over foreigners using the tourist status for long-term stays and unauthorised work. But it’s also raising questions across the industry about how the shorter stays could impact hotels and businesses. Tommy Walker reports from Bangkok.
