World leaders have gathered in New York as this year’s UN General Assembly kicks off.
The two-day summit is expected to deal with the war in Ukraine, the US war on Iran and Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, as well as many unresolved conflicts in Africa. But for the first time, a ministerial meeting on AI will also take centre stage during the High-Level Week.
