Palestinians in Gaza are laying to rest around 100 victims killed in Israeli air strikes during the early days of the war.
Their bodies have only just been recovered from rubble after days of digging by Gaza’s Civil Defence teams. Hundreds of mourners have gathered to commemorate those killed. More than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 2023.
