France pledges more teachers as protests swell | DW News

France’s education minister has pledged to send 3,000 substitute teachers to fill staffing gaps in schools, after three weeks of student protests over poor classroom conditions. Student union leaders said the measures were not enough and pledged to continue peaceful protests.
