Thousands of protesters joined the National March for Palestine, marking three years since the start of the Israeli genocide in Gaza. They marched through central London, waving Palestinian flags and holding “Stop Arming Israel” placards, calling for UK sanctions on Israel and a full arms embargo.
A smaller pro-Israel counter-protest was also held nearby, with police imposing restrictions on both demonstrations.
