Large crowds gathered at Amsterdam’s Dam Square for a pro-Palestinian demonstration, three years after the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza. Protesters carried Palestinian flags, called for an end to violence against Palestinians and urged the international community to impose sanctions on Israel.
More than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 175,000 injured in Gaza since October 2023, according to Palestinian figures. Despite a ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025, Israeli attacks and restrictions on humanitarian supplies have continued.
