Students block Louvre access in Paris in support of ongoing protests

Students blocked access to the Louvre Museum in Paris on October 19 in support of ongoing high school protests and to denounce what they described as police repression. The blockade prevented the museum from opening at 9am, according to management and unions cited by Le Parisien. Students from the Ecole du Louvre led the action, with participants from the National School of Fine Arts also taking part. Museum management said the protest had no direct connection to the Louvre.
