Ukrainian forces carried out what they described as a first-of-its-kind evacuation, using a heavy-lift aerial drone to rescue a wounded serviceman from a position under intense Russian drone activity and amid landmine risks. Soldiers from the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade worked to adapt the heavy-lift hexacopter for the operation. The evacuation was successful, with the wounded soldier rescued and now undergoing treatment and rehabilitation, officials said.
