In Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic is holding a campaign rally ahead of this weekend’s snap elections.
The vote will test the ruling SNS party of the long-time leader, who stepped down as president in September, in a bid to return to power as prime minister. Vucic has faced years of public discontent, with protests intensifying after the deadly collapse of a railway station canopy in Novi Sad in 2024.
