Israel’s Defence Minister Israel Katz says around 2,000 Palestinians have been displaced in the assault on Hebron, with dozens detained. The operation follows a deadly shooting near the city that killed two Israeli soldiers and two Palestinians. Israel also plans to close all crossings into the occupied West Bank during Tuesday’s general election.
