Russia says Germany has provided ‘no proof’ of Navalny poisoning with novichok

President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman has denied allegations that the Kremlin was involved in poisoning the Russian leader’s most determined critic, Alexei Navalny. Novichok, the illegal chemical weapon used to poison him, has been called “the business card of Mr Putin”. The day before the incident, the Russian opposition leader had conducted an investigation into pervasive corruption in Tomsk, which was made public today.
