Around 1,500 Orthodox Christians gathered outside Moscow to take part in an annual event commemorating Princess Elizabeth, who was executed by the Bolsheviks a century ago. They also marked 20 years since the canonization of the imperial Romanov family by the Moscow Patriarchate.
