Not surprisingly, the streets of Louisville were alive with protests yesterday, as demonstrators marched against the lack of murder charges against the officers involved in the shooting of Breonna Taylor. Windows were smashed, property was set aflame, and cafes were ransacked. Violent clashes between police and protesters resulted in two officers being shot – both are expected to survive. A suspect is currently in custody.
