West Bank shooting: Attackers open fire at gas station in Eli, at least 4 killed • FRANCE 24

Another day of violence in the occupied West Bank. At least four people are dead after Palestinian gunmen opened fire near the Israeli settlement Eli. The shooting occurred at a gas station. Violence in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has escalated over the past year, particularly since the hard-right government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took power in December. On Monday six Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces during a raid into Jenin refugee camp. That raid included the rare use of an Israeli helicopter firing missiles.
