Brazil has launched a dengue fever immunisation campaign after health authorities registered more than 395,000 likely cases of the mosquito-borne disease in the first five weeks of the year, four times more than the same period last year. Antoine Flahault, director of the Institute of Global Health at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, joins France 24 to explain what’s behind this explosion in cases.
