George Galloway has won the Rochdale by-election. The veteran pro-Palestinian campaigner began his speech by saying “Keir Starmer – this is for Gaza.” Labour was thrown into chaos when the party withdrew support from its candidate for repeating a conspiracy theory that Israel was complicit in the massacre of its own people.
