Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has renewed concern about the possibility of conflict spreading into NATO’s frontline states, namely the Baltic republics. In anticipation, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are taking strategic measures to bolster their security and military capabilities. With Putin now directly threatening a nuclear response if NATO troops are deployed to Ukraine. I feel it’s an appropriate time to highlight this again.
