France is the only country in the world to guarantee abortion as a constitutional right. Advocacy group the Center for Reproductive Rights says that in many parts of the world, women’s access to abortion has improved over the last 30 years, but several countries, including the US, Poland, and El Salvador have rolled back on the right to this procedure.
