Portugal’s center-right wins slim victory after far-right surge | DW News

Portugal’s center-right Democratic Alliance has claimed victory in a tightly contested general election. The Socialist Party, who have ruled for the past eight years, have conceded defeat – but a surge in the far-right has left the country facing an uncertain political future with no party claiming a majority.
