French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal said that many official government websites have been hit with cyberattacks of “unprecedented intensity” but their impact at this stage has been “limited”. About 2,000 websites have been targeted, including the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Culture and the Treasury. Several groups including a hacktivist group calling itself Anonymous Sudan have claimed responsibility for the attacks.
