A former lawyer for the Post Office has been accused of lying about the existence of a bug in the Horizon IT system, which would have explained shortfalls in Post Office branch accounts.
Jarnail Singh was sent a report identifying the glitch, but did not disclose it during the trial of a former subpostmistress who was later jailed for theft.
Mr Singh told the Post Office Inquiry he hadn’t been aware of the report.
