BREAKING: Trump partially immune from prosecution – Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has suggested Trump could be entitled to immunity from prosecution for ‘official acts’ while president but that this protection would not apply to acts as a private citizen.

The lower court must now decide whether he was acting officially or privately over his role in the deadly January 6 riots in 2021 at the Capitol in Washington DC.

As Sky’s James Matthews explains, it’s unlikely Trump will have to attend court before the US Presidential election in November.
