A Sky News investigation has found that despite a UK ban on the import of Russian Liquified Natural Gas, Britain’s services sector plays a significant role in facilitating the growing trade of LNG from Siberia to European ports.
The EU has yet to ban the import of liquid gas from Russia and so continues to pay Putin billions as it fills the hole left by reducing the amount of Russian pipeline gas it uses.
And the insurance and operation of these tankers is provided by many UK companies who are contributing to the continued flow of western money to Russia.
