South Yorkshire Police say anyone who took part in rioting over the weekend will be found and "held accountable".
At least six people have been arrested and one person has appeared in court in South Yorkshire, but police said that number would "increase significantly" this week.
Rioters attacked hotels housing asylum seekers and caused unrest across the UK over the weekend.
