Hundreds of people gathered at Berlin’s Breslauer Platz in Friedenau to protest against Israel’s brutal war on Palestine’s Gaza and to express solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The demonstrators criticised Germany’s support for Israel, chanting slogans like “Germany finances, Netanyahu commits a massacre, Scholz applauds” and “Stop arming Israel.”
Tensions flared as the police used force while arresting multiple demonstrators, with one protester seen lying on the ground, receiving medical treatment before being taken to the hospital by ambulance.
