It’s no secret that men and Kamala just don’t vibe, and now, it’s got the Dems spinning their wheels. Just look at their latest attempts to win back male voters: Tim Walz trying to load a shotgun like it’s his first day on a reality show, and Barack Obama all but shaking his finger at Black men for daring not to support Harris.
But wait, it gets better. They’re even skewing poll results by oversampling women to make it look like everything’s peachy. Remember Hillary Clinton’s epic “wives voted for Trump because their husbands told them to” moment? Classic. Fast forward to this weekend, when New York Times podcaster Lulu Garcia-Navarro had a full-on mental pause over a comment from JD Vance.
When asked whether deporting illegal immigrants would cause a labor shortage in construction, Vance dared to suggest, “Why not re-engage men to work in the labor market?” Garcia-Navarro looked like someone just told her men wanted to go back to manual labor instead of sipping artisanal lattes on Zoom calls. Shocking, right?
Enter John Konrad, CEO of gCaptain, who tore into the ridiculousness of this narrative in a viral post. His take? “She doesn’t get it. She thinks men wouldn’t want to build things anymore. Guess what? We do! We just don’t want to drown in OSHA paperwork, union drama, and HR policies that move slower than a DMV line on a Monday.”

Konrad laid it out: “Why can’t we build ships here? Because we’re tangled up in regulations! I loved working in South Korea—built ships, earned great money, and had the freedom to get things done. But here? More paperwork, half the pay, and one ship takes years to build. No thanks!”
He even threw in a reference to Office Space: “People think it’s just an office comedy, but real men know it’s a hero’s story. The guy ditches his boring desk job and finds freedom working construction—that’s the dream, right there!”
And then came the mic drop: “Yes, Lulu, I WOULD work construction. And I wouldn’t just build condos—I’d build bridges, ships, homes with strength and character. Men want to build, and we’re the best in the world at it. But you keep tying us down with regulations, DEI, and HR nonsense.”
In a final punch, he added: “We’re tired of being told what we want by people like you, Lulu. We don’t want to build for ourselves—we want to build great things for everyone.”
