The IDF’s spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, has said in a TV statement following the strikes on Iran: "Anyone who threatens the State of Israel will pay a very heavy price."
He went on to say that, in the wake of the attack: "Israel and the IDF is in a state of the highest possible alert."
Nonetheless, guidelines for Israeli citizens remain the same – no restrictions are being imposed on the public at the moment.
Hagari added: "We have proven once again that we will attack and retaliate wherever it is needed in order to defend the citizens of the State of Israel."
