Donald Trump has won the 2024 US presidential election, securing a historic return to White House.

Hailing a “magnificent victory”, the Republican candidate told jubilant crowds at his campaign watch party in Florida: "America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate.”

Kamala Harris is yet to concede or address supporters.
