As Djibouti’s Abdulhamid Han II Mosque, Africa’s only Ottoman-style mosque, marks its fifth anniversary, it stands as a symbol of deepening Türkiye-Africa relations. Built by the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation, the mosque blends Turkish art and craftsmanship across its 13,000m² area. This anniversary coincides with the Third Türkiye-Africa Ministerial Review Conference, aiming to enhance cooperation and cultural exchange across the continent.
