The head of the Norwegian Refugee Council said on Sunday that the ongoing war between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces has pushed Sudan to the edge of famine, with both parties accused of weaponizing hunger and impeding the flow of humanitarian aid since the conflict broke out in April 2023.
